Poughkeepsie School Admin Rehired For New Job

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A former school district deputy superintendent has been hired back to fill the new position of assistant superintendent of human resources and professional development for the Poughkeepsie schools. The board of education made the appointment Wednesday.

Kathleen Farrell held the deputy superintendent job for a month until the job was abolished in July and the new position was created, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

Farrell had filed a notice of claim for lost wages.
