Poughkeepsie Woman Charged With Drugs, Weapon Possession
The woman's arrest was the result of a traffic stop, troopers said.

HIGHLAND, NY — A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested for alleged drug and weapon possession. State police said Sharnae Campbell, 28, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Police said Campbell's arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Route 44/55 in the Town of Lloyd.
She was found to have heroin and crack cocaine packaged for sale, police said.

Campbell was also found to possess brass knuckles and marijuana during the traffic stop, according to troopers.
She was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Justice Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
