Power Outages Continue Saturday In Hudson Valley

A fast-moving powerful storm tore through the region Friday.

Outages still exist Saturday morning from the powerful thunderstorms that tore through the Hudson Valley Friday. For customers of Central Hudson, there are almost 3,000 outages, with Poughkeepsie the hardest hit.

There are 945 customers without electricity in the town and 521 in the city, as of 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

LaGrange and Hyde Park have 395 and 265 outages, respectively.

There are also 547 Dutchess County NYSEG customers waiting for the power to come back on.

NYSEG customers in Putnam County without power number more than 800.

There are 640 Westchester NYSEG customers without power, with more than 600 in the Town of North Salem.

Customer of O&R weren’t spared either.

Almost 300 Orange County customers are without electricity and there are 49 in Rockland County.
