UPDATE: Most Power Outages Reported in Ulster

Some of the outages have estimated restoration times.

UPDATE: By 9:30 p.m., no Columbia County customers were without power in the Central Hudson system.

The number of customers in the city and town of Poughkeepsie without electricity was down to more than 300.

That was the largest number of outages in Dutchess County.

Ulster County, however, still had 4,345 customers without power.

The majority were in Woodstock, with 2,014 outages reported.

Gusty winds in the wake of yesterday’s winter storm are playing havoc with some power lines.

As of 11 a.m., Central Hudson has 6,997 customers without electricity.

Ulster County has 4,249 out of 88,262 customers in with no power, with Woodstock, Olive and Saugerties the hardest hit.

Olive should be coming back on line soon, according to Central Hudson estimated restoration times. Saugerties is aiming for 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 for the power to come back on.

The restoration time estimate for Woodstock is noon Feb. 13.

In Dutchess County, 2,378 customers are without power. Red Hook, East Fishkill and Hyde Park have the most outages. Red Hook has 1,075 customers without electricity.

Only East Fishkill has an estimated restoration time. It’s 4 p.m. Feb. 13.

Columbia County has 82 customers without power.

For NYSEG customers, Swawangunk has 155 outages in Ulster and Orange counties.

Only one customer in the Town of Beekman is in the dark.
