Professor Accused Of Stealing Political Signs [WATCH]
A surveillance video showed the alleged thefts.

ROSENDALE, NY — An economics professor at SUNY New Paltz is in legal trouble over allegedly stolen political signs. Rosendale police charged Laura C. Ebert, 54, of Cottekill, with misdemeanor petit larceny, according to a post on the Rosendale police's Facebook page.
A surveillance video with a date stamp for Oct. 30 from a Town of Rosendale residence allegedly showed Ebert getting out of her pickup truck, removing two political signs — one for Rep. John Faso and and the other for Republican gubernatorial candidate Marc Molinaro — and tossing them in her truck.
Police said the woman cooperated with them and the signs that had been taken were found and recovered.
