Red Hook Man Accused Of Choking 2 Victims
One of the victims was a child under the age of 6, police said.

RED HOOK, NY — A Dutchess County man was arrested on domestic violence-related charges. State police said Christopher Struse, 32, of Red Hook, was charged with two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.
Police said that, around 9 p.m. July 2, a victim of domestic violence reported an incident to troopers at SP Rhinebeck, who then went to Whalesback Road in the Town of Red Hok.
An investigation found that Struse choked both the victim who reported the incident and a child under the age of 6, police said.

Struse was arraigned in the Village of Red Hook Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,500 bond
He is schedule to appear in the Town of Red Hook Court July 26.
