Rhinebeck Man Accused Of Having Child Porn

RHINEBECK, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of having child pornography.

The New York State Police said Daniel P. Shanahan, 64, of Rhinebeck, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony possession of a sexual performance by a child.

Police said the investigation by the state police and the Rhinebeck Police Department found Shanahan was in possession of child pornography.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Rhinebeck Court Jan. 20.
