Rite Aid Expands Coronavirus Testing Locations In Mid-Hudson

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Rite Aid is expanding the number of locations in the mid-Hudson Valley where the public can be tested for the new coronavirus. There will be three additional sites — Poughkeepsie, Kingston and Middletown — beginning Monday, May 11.

Rite Aid previously opened a site in Valley Cottage at 133 Route 303 in Rockland County.

The pharmacy is also expanding coronavirus testing criteria at all testing sites to include adults who are not exhibiting any symptoms of the virus, effective immediately in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Patients at all testing locations are required to provide government-issued identification, be at least 18 years old and need to pre-register online in order to schedule a time slot for testing.

The new no-charge testing sites will located at the following locations:

  • Poughkeepsie: 709 Main St.
  • Middletown: 701 Route 211 East
  • Kingston: 351 Flatbush Avenue
