Road Closure Planned For Warwick
Crews will be performing construction activities, weather permitting.
WARWICK, NY — The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists that there will be a road closure in both directions of Route 17A between West Street and Railroad Avenue in the Town of Warwick. The closure will take place from 10 a.m Monday, July 8 through Monday, Aug. 12.
Crews will be performing construction activities, weather permitting, the DOT said.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan accordingly.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
