Rob Lowe Films Documentary In Hudson Valley
The former "Parks and Recreation" and "The West Wing" star was making a short film on craft breweries.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Did you happen to see Rob Lowe last week when he was in Poughkeepsie? Lowe was in the Hudson Valley April 5 filming a segment of “Success Files,” which the television star hosts and is distributed to public television stations.
The former “The West Wing” and “Parks and Recreation” star was at the Mill House Brewing Company in Poughkeepsie for an upcoming segment on craft breweries, wpdh.com said.
According to its website, “Success” specializes in 30-minute and short-form documentaries for public television. “Success” is not associated with the Public Broadcasting Service or American Public Television.

Lowe has more than 100 stage, television, film and radio credits. He is known for such films as “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “About Last Night” and “The Outsiders.”
Mill House brewmasters Jamie Bishop and Larry Stock have been brewing since 2013. In their first three years, they came up with 35 distinct styles, according the Mill House Brewing Company website. In 2017, they received a gold medal in the state Craft Beer Competition for the wild and sour category and a bronze for the experimental category.

The brewers at Mill House have gone from small-batch beer production to an 8,000-square-foot brewery.
