Rochester Man Killed In Ulster County ATV Crash Has Been ID'd

Investigators believe that the driver of the all-terrain vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a thicket of trees.

HARDENBURGH, NY — Authorities have identified the Rochester man killed in an Ulster County ATV crash.

On November 16, just after 3:30 p.m., troopers from the Kingston barracks were called to an ATV crash on Dry Brook Rd. in the hamlet of Arkville in the Town of Hardenburgh.

Investigators believe that the all-terrain vehicle was traveling southbound on Dry Brook Rd. The driver, now identified as David Sidorenko, failed to negotiate a curve causing the all-terrain vehicle to strike a cluster of trees.

The 55-year-old was then ejected from the all-terrain vehicle. Sidorenko was taken to Margaritaville Memorial Hospital where he later died.
