Ruge's Subaru Donates To North Dutchess Hospital Renovation

The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation recently received a check for $21,226 as part of Subaru's annual Share the Love campaign.

From Health Quest: The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation recently received a check for $21,226 on Tuesday, April 24, as part of Subaru’s annual Share the Love campaign.

The donation will go toward completing the hospital’s interventional radiology suite, which is slated to open in late summer. Interventional radiology allows patients to have minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnosis and treat diseases, according to Paul King, director of the hospital’s diagnostic imaging services.

During December’s Share the Love campaign, anyone who purchases or leases a new Subaru can designate $250 to be given to a national charity or the dealer’s local charity of choice. New this year, Ruge’s Subaru contributed an additional $50 for every new Subaru purchased or leased for a total of $17,776. The national Subaru company donated the additional $3,450. This is the fourth successive year that Ruge’s has designated the Rhinebeck hospital as its hometown charity, raising more than $90,000 in total.
