Early Dismissals Rolling In Wednesday In HV: UPDATE

UPDATE 11:46 a.m. — Some districts have announced early dismissals. Snow squalls and high winds are predicted this afternoon ahead of plunging temperatures.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With the winter storm winding down through the Hudson Valley, some school districts determined to start classes Wednesday later than normally scheduled. The National Weather Service issued an advisory about black ice, as temperatures dropped through the teens and lower 20s overnight causing residual moisture on untreated surfaces to freeze, urging people to use extra caution while traveling early Wednesday morning.
