UPDATE — Officials at the U.S. Military Academy identified the cadet who has been missing since Friday. The search continues Tuesday afternoon for Cadet Kade Kurita, 20, from Gardena, California.

"There has been no cell phone or financial activity in over 72 hours," said Col. Cecil Marson, garrison commander of West Point. "This leads us to believe that he is still in the vicinity of West Point."

Poor weather conditions hampered aviation search efforts Tuesday, officials said.
