Sears in Galleria at Crystal Run Set to Close

WALLKILL, NY — The struggling retailer Sears is closing its department store and auto center at the Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill in mid-April.

A spokesman for the company said a liquidation sale will begin Jan. 6 and that the Sears in the Newburgh Mall will remain open, the Times Herald-Record said.

The number of employees who will be laid off was not known.
