A semester of new flavors at Marist College
A recent ribbon cutting heralded opening of the new North End operated by Marist Dining Services.

For students at Marist College, the semester just got very tasty. A recent ribbon cutting heralded opening of the new North End operated by Marist Dining Services.
North End features diverse and customized food options, including a bakery, pizza, pasta, grill, eggs to order, smoothies, salad bowls and a unique partnership with Rossi & Sons Rosticceria, an off-campus favorite of Marist students.
Students can create their own signature sandwich or eggs-to-order by choosing a protein, toppings, cheeses and spreads. A selection of creative pasta dishes includes Pesto Spinach Tomato Casserette and Lasagna Bolognese Roll with Ricotta. The menu offers innovative salad bowls like Sage Roasted Chicken with mixed greens, pears, candied pecans, dried cherries, and Dijon cider vinaigrette.

Sodexo, the dining services partner on campus, created the menu based on Mindful, an award-winning approach that focuses on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions and clarity in message so that making Mindful choices becomes second nature.
Sodexo Executive Chef Anthony Legname, with Sodexo at Marist College for a decade, is enthusiastic about the new dining center.

“The menu that we created is very diverse,” said Legname. “A lot of the items are multicultural. I look forward to the feedback we get from everyone on campus.”
The new dining center will serve the needs of Marist’s growing community and will also make it easier for Marist to host conferences and large-scale events.
