POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A severe thunderstorm alert has been issued for southeastern Ulster County and west central Dutchess County. It is in effect until 7:15 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
* At 628 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hyde Park, or near Poughkeepsie, moving east at 15 mph.
