Severe T-Storm Warning, Tornado Possible: UPDATE
Damaging wind gusts and hail can be expected.

The National Weather Service has amended its severe thunderstorm warning for northern Dutchess and southern Columbia counties to include the possibility of a tornado. At 3:15 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Millerton, or 18 miles south of Great Barrington, moving east at 25 mph.
A severe thunderstorm warning for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley has been extended to 4 p.m. The warning is in effect for northeastern Dutchess and south central Columbia counties. There could be 70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
Expect damage to trees, mobile homes, roofs and outbuildings.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley. The National Weather Service said the warning is in effect until 3 p.m. for northern Dutchess and southern Columbia counties.
At 2:18 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Clermont, or 7 miles east of Saugerties, moving east at 25 mph.

There could be 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
Damage to roofs, siding and trees can be expected.
The storm will be around Pine Plains around 2:40 p.m. and Millerton around 3 p.m.
