Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Northern Mid-Hudson Valley

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northeastern Dutchess and south central Columbia counties. It is in effect until 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

At 2:02 p.m. Saturday, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pine Plains, or 12 miles northeast of Rhinebeck, moving east at 25 mph.

There has been damage reported along the path of this thunderstorm.

Sixty mph wind gusts and penny size hail have been reported.

Damage to roofs, siding and trees should be expected.

• Copake around 220 PM EDT.
• Millerton around 225 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Whitehouse Crossing, Pachin Mills, Ancramdale, Weed Mines, Spencer Corners, Mount Riga, Smithfield, Attlebury, Shekomeko and Silvernails.
