Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service for southeaster Ulster County and Dutchess County. It is in effect until 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

At 5:47 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pine Plains to near Ellenville, moving east at 40 mph.

Sixty mph wind gusts can be expected, as well as damage to roofs, siding and trees.
