Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Southern Dutchess

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for southern Dutchess County. It’s in effect until 4:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service said at 3:11 p.m. severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Cornwall Bridge to Fishkill, moving northeast at 25 mph.

The storm contains 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.

Damage to vehicle from the hail can be expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding and trees.
