Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley
This is the second day in a row the area has been under a thunderstorm watch. breaking

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley Monday. The National Weather Service said it's in effect for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties until 9 p.m. Monday.
A hazardous weather outlook was previously issued for the same area.
The NWS said additional showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday ahead of the passage of a cold front.

There is marginal to slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon into early evening, with the main threats being damaging winds and hail of 1 inch or greater in diameter.
The highest probability for severe storms will be from around the Capital District south and east.
