Sheriff Issues Missing Child Alert For At-Risk 16-Year-Old Girl
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding Karissa Renee Grove, last seen in the Town of Pawling Tuesday.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — Police are asking for help locating a missing teen.
Karissa Grove was last seen on Leroy Lane in the Town of Pawling at 3:45 a.m. on September 28, according to a missing child alert issued by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday evening. It is believed that Grove is suicidal and may be in need of medical attention. It is possible that the teen was traveling to New York City with an unidentified man.
The Sheriff’s Office is circulating a recent photograph of Grove. She is described as white, 5'7'' and weighing approximately 140 pounds. The teen was last seen wearing a green shirt, black leggings and a purse/backpack. Grove has blue and black hair, brown eyes and a nose piercing.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Karissa Grove to call detectives at 845-486-3820 or contact the tip line at 845-605-CLUE (2583) or dcsotips@gmail.com. Police ask that those calling or emailing leave their name, contact information, what they are calling about without mentioning any specific details about the case and a detective will contact them back.
