Hudson Valley Assemblyman Seriously Ill: Report

He entered the hospital March 23, according to a news report.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — New York State Assemblyman Frank Skartados is hospitalized with a serious illness, the Times Community Newspaper reports. Skartados represents Assembly District 104, which includes parts of Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties.

His Chief of Staff, Steve Gold, told the paper Skartados entered the hospital March 23.

Born in Greece, Skartados moved to America at 14. He taught at West Point before becoming a businessman and immersing himself in the revitalization of Poughkeepsie.
