Snow Prompts Special Weather Statement
Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this squall.

Snow could appear in mid-Hudson Valley Saturday morning. The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement that said a snow squall will affect Ulster, northern Dutchess and Columbia counties.
At 9:32 a.m., a snow squall was located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Chatham to near Willowemoc. It was moving east at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this squall.

The squall will be near High Falls around 10:25 a.m. and around New Paltz, Hyde Park and Highland around 10:30 a.m.
