Snow, Sleet, Ice Forecast For Mid-Hudson Valley

A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of the region.

A winter weather advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley. The National Weather Service said the advisory is for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties.

Mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations of less than 1 inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze to 1/10 of an inch is expected.

Southeast winds may gust to 30 to 40 mph over the Taconics and the higher terrain of western New England.
