Stabbing Investigation After ER Patient Arrives With Knife Wounds At Garnet Health Medical Center: NYSP
Police said the victim was stabbed at an event hall, before being taken to the ER. No arrests have been made yet.
MIDDLETOWN, NY — State Police are investigating a stabbing connected to an event at a party hall on East Main Street in Middletown Saturday evening.
Troopers responded at about 6:23 p.m. Sept. 19 to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown for a report of a man with a stab wound. Investigators said that Juan G. Pena, of Monticello, was stabbed during an event at Our Town Party Hall and Rentals before he was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
The 34-year-old received treatment at Garnet Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition, according to State Police.

The investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have been made in the case, according to State Police. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact SP Middletown BCI at 845-344-5300 or email FBCICrimeTips@troopers.ny.gov.
