State Police Investigating Restaurant Burglary In HV
Police said someone stole a cash register from a restaurant on New Year's Eve.
PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — State police are investigating a burglary at at a Pleasant Valley business and are asking the public for help. On Dec. 31, troopers in Poughkeepsie began looking into the burglary that occurred at Fireside BBQ & Grill at 1920 Salt Point Turnpike in the Town of Pleasant Valley.
Around 4:15 a.m. New Year's Eve, police said, the suspect entered the business and stole a cash register.
The suspect is believed to be between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants and backpack, police said.
