State Police Looking For Man Charged With Burglary, Assault

The Facebook post was part of the New York State Police's "Warrant Wednesday."

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — State Police are looking for a Hudson Valley man who is wanted for assault and breaking into a home. Police said Matthew M. Dabros is wanted the the State Police and the Town of Pleasant Valley Court for charges stemming from a domestic incident investigation, according to a “Warrant Wednesday” Facebook post.

Police said he forced his way into the home of an acquaintance and committed assault and damaged property.

Dabros is charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and third-degree assault, third-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors.

Dabros is a white man, 32 years old, 6 feet tall and weighs 215 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.

Police said Dabros has ties to Hyde Park and the surrounding area.
