Anywhere from a half inch to one inch of rain is expected and thunderstorms are possible Monday. More showers are possible on Tuesday, and after that the weather improves with more sun and temps in the 70s expected.
Dry conditions are expected Monday night along with seasonably cool temperatures before the next system approaches from the northwest.

"Tuesday looks rather unsettled in general, as the frontal boundary will move slowly, and likely keeps the scattered showers in the region for much of the day. That will also have an impact on the temperatures… which will likely hold in the 60s as a result of the instability," said Hudson Valley Weather. "Make sure you have your rain gear handy as we begin the first full week of June."
