Strong Winds In Forecast; Advisory Issued For Mid-Hudson
Driving could be difficult during the heavy winds, especially for high profile vehicles.

Strong winds are in the forecast for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for eastern Columbia, eastern Dutchess and western Ulster counties.
The advisory is in effect from 1 p.m Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The NWS said that winds from the west at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.
