Sunshine On The Way First In Poughkeepsie

Here's what we can expect this weekend in Beacon and Newburgh before remnants of Florence arrive.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Sunshine is coming. Saturday and Sunday clouds will diminish and temperatures will climb to slightly above seasonal normals, reaching into the lower 80s across much of the Hudson Valley.

"Conditions should improve over the weekend, slowly … as the sun should slowly return over the next day or two," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter at Hudson Valley Weather. "Then our eyes turn to the remnants of Hurricane Florence, which will get caught in a frontal trough and likely rotate northward toward the Hudson Valley by late Monday and into Tuesday."
