Taconic State Parkway Lane Closures Expected In Dutchess County
The closures are not expected to occur on Saturday evenings or during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — The state Department of Transportation said motorists should be aware that nighttime single-lane closures are expected to occur on northbound and southbound sides of the Taconic State Parkway between Route 301 and Interstate 84 between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., Sundays through Fridays, while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting. These lane closures are expected end Friday, Dec. 1.
Closures, which will take place in the Town of East Fishkill in Dutchess County and the towns of Kent and Putnam Valley in Putnam County, are not expected to occur on Saturday evenings or during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
