Taste Of Rhinebeck Brings Culinary Crawl Back To Hudson Valley
The combination food festival-fundraiser-competition all takes place within a four-block radius in the Village of Rhinebeck.

RHINEBECK, NY — If you consider yourself a foodie and you don't have your tickets yet for Taste of Rhinebeck, there's still time. The 15th annual combination food festival-fundraiser-culinary competition is set for Tuesday, April 30 in the center of the Village of Rhinebeck.
The culinary crawl, which features about 20 restaurants, specialty food shops and wine and liquor purveyors begins at 6 p.m. and features appetizers, entrees, beverages and desserts — all with-in a four-block radius.
The fundraiser component benefits the Northern Dutchess Foundation and it expected to bring in about $25,000 for the hospital's patient care services. It usually draws about 400 hungry people.

“Rhinebeck is the perfect setting for a food and beverage crawl,” said Dawn Morrison, executive director of the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation. “We are known for having great restaurants, and we’re lucky that they are within a short walking distance. It really makes for a fun event.”
What about the competition? As participants make their way through the village sampling all the food and drink, they get to, at the end, vote on their favorites. Last year’s crowd favorites included a Peppermint Patty sandwiched between two Oreos from Samuel’s Sweet Shop, a warm cauliflower soup with avocado toast from Bread Alone and The Amsterdam’s house paté.
