Thunderstorms Could Bring Damaging Winds Saturday
The National Weather Service issued hazardous weather outlooks for the Hudson Valley.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Thunderstorms are in the forecast for the Hudson Valley Saturday.
To that end, the National Weather Service issued hazardous weather outlooks for the region.
For Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties, strong to severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds are possible between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.

Damaging winds up to 50 mph during the thunderstorms may result in downed trees or large limbs. Gusty winds up to 40 or 45 mph may continue into the early evening.
There is a marginal risk of severe weather, according to the weather service.

For the rest of the Hudson Valley — Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties — a line of showers with embedded thunderstorms Saturday afternoon has a marginal risk of producing damaging winds.
