Tornado Watch In Effect For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley
There is an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon into early this evening.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A tornado watch has been issued for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley. The National Weather Service said the watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Friday.
It affected Dutchess and Ulster counties.
The cities of Arlington, Beacon, Kingston, New Paltz and Poughkeepsie are included in the watch.

There is an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon into early this evening. The main threats will be damaging winds of 58 mph or greater and heavy rainfall.
