Treatment Facility House Manager Accused Of Rape

The incident occurred in Ulster County, police said.

A Sullivan County man was accused of having sex with a client a residential facility. State police said Marcus Coles, 45, of Liberty, was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual act and two counts of third-degree rape, felonies.

The Justice Center of New York and the Ellenville state police conducted an investigation into claims that a house manager was having sexual intercourse with a client at a residential facility.

Authorities said the incident occurred at the Samaritan Daytop Village, located in the Town of Wawarsing.

The investigation resulted in Coles' arrest.

After being arraigned in the Town of Wawarsing Court, he was released on his own recognizance to return July 12.
