Ulster Woman Steals $730,000 From Former Employer: NYSP
Authorities said the theft of money occurred over a three-year period.

GARDINER, NY — An Ulster County woman was accused of stealing almost three-quarters of a million dollars from her former employer.
The New York State Police said Kelly A Scotto, 36, of Gardiner, was arrested Tuesday and charged with three felonies:
- Second-degree grand larceny.
- Third-degree grand larceny.
- Second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Police said the investigation found that Scotto, over a three-year period, stole more than $730,000 from her former employer who was located in Gardiner.

She was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and released on her own recognizance.
Scotto is next scheduled to appear in the Town of Gardiner Court Jan. 5.
