Upstate Man Found Dead After Crashing Truck Into Creek
Police said they don't know yet why the man's truck went off the road.
LEXINGTON, NY — An upstate man was found dead after his pick-up truck crashed and ended up in a creek.
The New York State Police said, shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday, troopers from the Catskill barracks were sent to Route 42 in the town of Lexington about a truck in a stream with an unconscious driver.
When authorities got to the area, Greene County Paramedics were on scene and told the troopers that the driver of the truck was dead.

The investigation found that the Ford F-150 was traveling north on Route 42 in Lexington when the truck left the roadway off the east shoulder. It struck a utility pole and came to rest in a creek.
Police said the driver of the truck was Douglas Cronk, 52, of Grand Gorge, Delaware County.
