Van De Water Wins Republican Primary For 19th CD

He will be facing incumbent Democratic Rep. Antonio Delgado in the November election.

MILLBROOK, NY — Republican Kyle Van De Water of Millbrook will be challenging incumbent Democratic Rep. Antonio Delgado in the November election for the 19th Congressional District. Van De Water, 40, ran in the Republican primary June 23 against Ola Hawatmeh, a fashion designer.

Van De Water is an Army veteran and an attorney, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported. He also serves in the U.S. Army Reserves legal corps.

Delgado lives in Rhinebeck and is running for a second term. The 19th Congressional District is comprised of all or part of 11 counties in the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, Catskills and Central New York regions of New York.
