Vassar Brothers Medical Center Foundation Honors Physicians at Diamond Gala
The fundraiser was held at the FDR Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park.

HYDE PARK, NY — The Foundation for Vassar Brothers Medical Center held its 27th annual Diamond Gala Saturday at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park.
The event, which honored Dr. Mohan Sarabu and Dr. Frank Pedevillano, raised about $450,000, according to a spokesman.
About 750 people attended the event.

Sarabu is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Pedevillano is a family practice physician on the medical staff of the VBMC.
Also receiving special recognition were retired life trustees Richard Chazen, Bernard Handel, Matthew Lampell, Ethelyn Mund, John O’Shea and Francis Wise.
