Vermont Woman, Yonkers Man Arrested For Felony Drug Possession
Troopers stopped a 2020 BMW 530 Series on the Taconic State Parkway for traffic violations, and a search led to a drug siezure.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — A traffic stop led to a felony drug bust, according to state troopers.
New York State Police say that on October 30, their Community Stabilization Unit arrested a Yonkers man and a Vermont woman for felony drug possession.
Around 9:20 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2020 BMW 530 Series on the Taconic State Parkway for violations of vehicle and traffic law in the town of East Fishkill.

An investigation found that the driver, 44-year-old Steven A. Emery, of Yonkers, and the passenger, 30-year-old Shelby Rose Rowe, of Bennington, Vermont, were in possession of around 110 grams of cocaine.
Rowe was found to be in possession of an additional amount of cocaine weighing an estimated 3.7 grams.

They were both charged with felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
Rowe was additionally charged with felony fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Emery and Rowe were arraigned in the Town of East Fishkill Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
