Victim In Deadly Motorcycle Collision With Dump-Style Trailer ID'd As 22-Year-Old
Police say he was riding a Suzuki motorcycle at high speed on Route 299 when it hit the back of an unidentified, dump-style trailer.

TOWN OF LLOYD, NY — Authorities have released the identity of the young man killed in deadly motorcycle crash.
The New York State Police say that on Monday night, around 9:29 p.m., troopers from Highland responded to Route 299, in the town of Lloyd, after receiving a report of a motorcycle accident.
Investigators say a 2002 Suzuki American motorcycle was traveling east on Route 299 at high speed when it struck the back of an unidentified dump-style trailer traveling in the same direction.

22-year-old Felix A. Amaro Soriano, of Poughkeepsie, was ejected from the motorcycle.
Amaro Soriano received life-saving measures at the scene and was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

NYSP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Highland, at 845-344-5300.
