Wappinger Man Accused Of Engaging In Sexual Conduct With Child

Police said the victim was under the age of 11.

WAPPINGER, NY — A Town of Wappinger man was accused Wednesday of engaging in sexual conduct with a child. State police said Hennessy J. Taylor, 40, of Wappinger, was charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony.

Police said the investigation found Taylor engaged in a course of sexual conduct against a child victim under the age of 11.

He was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 secured bond.

Taylor is next scheduled to appear in court May 30.
