Wappinger Man Accused Of Sending Sexual Material To Minor
Police conducted a two-month investigation after receiving a complaint from a parent.

WAPPINGER, NY — State police arrested a Town of Wappinger man on the charge of first-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor, a felony. Police said David Fernandes, 20, was taken into custody June 25.
In April, a parent reported a sexual offense to the troopers of SP Wappinger. Investigators along with the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center conducted a two-month investigation that found Fernandes sent inappropriate sexual material to a child under the age of 17.

He was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
