Wappinger Man Stole Equipment, Golf Carts, More: Sheriff
Authorities said they found stolen property after a search warrant was executed at the man's home.
WAPPINGER, NY — A Town of Wappinger man was accused of stealing power equipment, trailers, tractors, golf carts and more throughout Dutchess County.
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Town of Poughkeepsie Police, Town of East Fishkill Police and the New York State Police, said Hung P. Hoang, 48, of Wappinger was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.
The sheriff's office said the arrest came after a lengthy investigation into the theft of property from various locations around Dutchess County.

On Tuesday, a search warrant was executed at Hoang's home after which stolen property consisting of enclosed trailers, power equipment, tractors, golf carts and UTVs was located and secured.
After being processed on the charge, he was released to appear in the Town of Wappinger Court Wednesday.

The sheriff's office said the investigation is continuing and further charges are possible at a late date.
