Wappinger Sonic Drive-In Closed Permanently
Two other mid-Hudson Valley locations are still open.
WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — If you were driving on Route 9 this past weekend, you might have noticed that the signs on the Sonic Drive-In in the Hannaford’s Plaza in the Town of Wappinger were down.
Well, according to the company’s Facebook page, that location is permanently closed.
A customer had left a message inquiring when the drive-in would reopened and the response was that it would not.

The Sonic representative responding on Facebook indicated that the New Windsor location was still open.
A call to the Middletown drive-in confirmed they were still open as well.
