Wappinger Woman Faces Drugged Driving Charge
New York state police allege she was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Route 9.
WAPPINGER, NY — Christine B. Bannon, of Wappingers Falls, New York, faces a charge of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched to a hit-and-run crash on Route 9 in Wappinger on Oct. 16 concluded that Bannon had struck the rear of another vehicle and fled the crash site. She was located at her residence and, police allege, she was impaired by drugs.
The 57-year-old is due to appear in Wappinger Court on Nov. 1.
