Weed Wacker Attack After Neighbors' Property Line Dispute Leads To Felony Arrest: NYSP
The victim was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

DOVER, NY — An argument between neighbors turned violent after yard work became a melee, according to cops.
On Friday, just after 5 p.m., New York State Police in Dover were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a home on Holsapple Road in the town of Dover for a reported disturbance.
An investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) found that a 65-year-old man and his 37-year-old neighbor, identified as Todd Tripp, were involved in an argument about a property line dispute. During the altercation, Tripp raised a string trimmer and struck the victim, causing lacerations to the face and arm, as well as swelling to one eye, according to NYSP.

The victim was taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Tripp was charged with felony assault. He was arraigned in the Town of Dover Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Dover Court on June 16.
