Wind Advisory Issued For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Power outages are possible as a storm front approaches the mid-Hudson Valley.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for western Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess counties.
It is in effect from 6 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The weather service said west winds 15 to 25 mph can be expected with gusts up to 50 mph.
Meteorologists said gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
